What to expect after Reiki?
Reiki or Energy Healing can impact people in very different ways. The sensations and thoughts during a session vary from client to client, as does the experience after a relaxing reiki session. Here are a few insights into what to expect:
How will I feel after my Energy Healing session?
Reactions vary from person to person
Sometimes the results are not immediate and may unfold in the days, weeks, or months to come
Clients have reported various responses, including:
A deep sense of relaxation and calm
Decreased stress and anxiety
Shift or increase in energy
Shift or surfacing of thoughts, perspectives, emotions, and memories
Detoxification (headaches, flu-like symptoms, soreness, fatigue etc.)
Emotional releases

What to do after my Energy Healing session?
RELAX & REFLECT
Reiki often brings a lot to the surface so take time each day to observe what feelings, thoughts and memories come up
Journaling is an excellent way to reflect on your experience and process your thoughts
Relax and listen to your body and what it may need
Rest, be patient with your body and don’t push yourself
Implement self-love and self-care practices (eat nourishing food, get into nature etc.)
CLEANSE & DETOX
It is recommended that you have a cleansing period after your session
Drink plenty of water
Take salt baths to further the relaxation and detoxification process
Avoid coffee, sugar, alcohol, and any stimulants for a few days after the session
