How to prepare for Reiki?
If you are wondering how to best prepare for your Reiki session, here are a few tips:
What to avoid ahead of your Reiki Session?:
It is recommended that you avoid coffee, sugar, alcohol and any other stimulants 24 hours before your session
Avoid having a heavy meal prior to your reiki session
What to wear/not wear to your Reiki Session:
Remove any jewellery that may be a distraction to you
Wear loose-fitting clothing to ensure you are comfortable
At your Reiki Session:
Use the restroom and put your phone on silent beforehand, so you are not interrupted during the session
Consider your intentions and goals for the session. These may include wanting to:
Feel relaxed
Ease stress and anxiety
Bring clarity and focus to the mind
Restore energy
Relieve pain
Dissolve energy blocks
Clear negative thoughts and emotions
Release emotional wounds
After your Reiki Session:
The session will include a short consultation/discussion both before and after so please allow for an additional 15 -30 minutes
Some clients like to take notes during our discussion time so feel free to bring a notebook or phone to jot down some insights, messages or guidance
