I believe that we all come into this world with unique gifts and different ways of feeling energy, whether this is through visuals, sounds, smells, feelings in our body or even taste.

I think, quite often, people forget about these gifts and how to access and use their intuition. I was one of these people. Through doing various workshops and courses and with the help of some wonderful mentors, I was able to remember my intuition and the way I pick up information through my senses.

Reiki healers or practitioners all have different ways of working. My sessions are, of course, all about allowing universal energy to flow to where it needs to go, helping unblock or rebalance energy and allowing you to activate your own healing abilities. But my sessions are also, in part, an intuitive reading. Working through each chakra I will listen to your body and pick up on any blockages, imbalances, negative beliefs and where energy is perhaps vibing a little low. Each session is different, as is each client, and sometimes the information I receive is through visions, messages, sensations and even songs on occasion.

Guided by you and your needs at that time, I like to incorporate a meditation toward the end of each session, whether this a heart activation, grounding meditation or journey to meet your ancestors to receive a message you need to hear.

After a blissful hour of Reiki, I always leave time to discuss everything that comes up during the session. Whilst Reiki is a powerful modality in shifting and unblocking energy, I think it’s important to acknowledge aspects of yourself and devise ways to further support your energy in the future.
